Established in 1970 West Essex Saddlery is a traditional saddlery. We pride ourselves on the quality of our customer service above all else. Our small friendly team are horse owners and riders with many years’ experience to draw on when offering advice.
Our staff are fully trained to fit hat and body protectors and are happy to offer advice on the most suitable and up to date protective wear for your chosen discipline. Working within BETA guidelines, we regularly review and update our safety wear training to ensure we offer only the highest standards of service.

We offer an extensive range of new saddles, good quality used and some ex-demo saddles, which we can either fit at your yard or at an indoor school located within 2 miles of the shop. After sale services are also available and we advise regular saddle checks to ensure the best possible fit, the charge for this is calculated according to location and distance travelled.
